In celebration of my Bar Mitzvah, I have decided to raise money for an organization called ALEH. This organization cares for children with medical conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome, as well as genetic disorders, including Tay-Sachs, Canavan disease and Rett syndrome.

This organization is important to me, and I am excited to have the opportunity to raise money on its behalf. In order to do so, I rode my bike on Sunday, October 7th from my house in Riverdale, NY to Rockland Lake and back for a total of 61 miles. Steve my dad, and my friends Sam Berman and Russell Porrino joined me.       

I am very excited that we have already exceeded my initial goal on behalf of the children of ALEH!  Let\'s keep this going and see how much more we can raise for them. There is still time!

A Specialized Basketball Session - $650

Specialized hand-grip balls and hoops to enable severely disabled youngsters to enjoy a game of basketball.

Beach Outing - $400

An outing to the beach or the zoo exposes  youngsters to the beauty of the outside world.

Sponsor An Outing - $500 (I will be sponsoring two outings)

Just like you, the kids at ALEH love going on class trips.  With your help, children at ALEH can visit the zoo, the beach or even the Kotel!

In addition, there are many ways that you can join the cause. The idea is for people to give what they can and spread the word to their friends, family and co-workers (take a look at the tools in the Tell Your Friends section).
