The founders of Root Funding were inspired by their belief that people generally derive no greater satisfaction than when they simply do something good. A unique inner sense of accomplishment is derived when a person knows that they made a difference. 

We also recognize that most non-profits today do not incorporate the power of person-to-person fundraising, and typically rely on more traditional methods such as direct mailings, dinners, events, etc.

Our vision is to tap into a person's innate desire to do good, and provide them with a platform to channel this energy in a way that benefits the non-profits that they support.

Root Funding was created with this in mind. Our goal was to create a simple, yet powerful, tool that enables people to go out and spread the word about their favorite non-profits, and ultimately raise money on their behalf.
