Welcome to Lilah's Power Promise 

Last winter Lilah came to me out of the blue and said that she wanted to make a power promise to donate her hair for cancer patients. She has been patiently waiting for her hair to get long enough and it's finally to that point. She will be getting it all chopped off in 2 weeks. In researching organizations to donate her hair we found hairweshare.org - A little about them:

We provide customized, human hair wigs free of charge to anyone whose financial means doesn’t allow them to purchase one. Cancer patients are confronted by many challenges, including facing possible death, pain, and loss of income. And for those patients who undergo chemo, they are hit with the devastation of complete hair loss. When a cancer patient – or anyone suffering from medically induced hair loss – receives an attractive and appropriate wig, it improves their outlook and wherewithal to handle their medical and life situations. We provide suitable wigs to children and teens who’s suffering from cancer and other medical causes of hair loss are profound.

We are taking it a step further and we need your help! Lilahs goal is to not only donate her hair but to sponser the wig as well. Although this organization gives the wigs away for free they depend on donations to make them. We also chose this particular organization because they will track her hair and let us know who receives the wig made from her donation. This organization and Lilah's "Power Promise" is very important to us. She has been waiting to do this for months to make another little girl happy and I am so incredibly proud of my kind amazing 6 year old.
