Usually a child buries a parent.  What happens when a parent buries a child?

Reva Judas, Director of NechamaComfort, reflects on Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month:

I remember my first born son, Pesach. He lived for 12 hours.  

NechamaComfort helps families, like mine, facing a tragedy that is too often hidden. We educate communities, medical personnel and clergy to better support their friends, neighbors, clients and congregants.

Before the Sabbath and Jewish holidays, I light a candle for each of my children. My granddaughter thinks I light an extra candle for God in Heaven. I know I light for my son.

During the high holidays, we have hopes for the coming year. Help support the families whose hopes have been shattered.
